The teams attending included Camden, Atkinson, Pierce, Long, Brantley, Bacon, and Lanier.
The girls race ran at 4:30 PM and there were 55 athletes running in the Swamp. The Lady Gators top 5 runners were Bailey Moore (11th grade) placing 5th with a time of 25:18, Evie Brown (9th grade) placing 9th with a time of 26:52, Selina Ocadiz (9th grade) placing 11th with a time of 26:58, Mia Sandiford (12th grade) placing 12th with a time of 27:12, and Emilie Hunteman (11th grade) placing 16th with a time of 28:30.
The boys ran at 5:15 and included 109 runners. The top 5 boys for the gators were Ethan Frye (12th grade) placing 1st with a time of 18:24, Byron McKelvin (12th grade) placing 5th with a time of 19:20, Nathan Hale (12th grade) placing 13th with a time of 20:58, Colin Brown (9th grade) placing 17th with a time of 21:19, and Timothy Musgrove (10th grade) placing 18th with a time of 21:31.
The Gators will be travelling to the Jekyll Island Invitational on Saturday 8/31/19. The first race will begin at 9:20 AM.
