AAAAA State Championship Hosted By Carrollton High School 11/1/19

The Gators travelled to Carrollton High School Friday to compete in the GHSA class AAAAA State Cross Country Championship.  There were 31 teams in the boys race and 29 teams represented in the girls race.  The Gator boys finished 29^th as a team and the girls finished 22^nd.  There were a total of 215 runners in the boys race and 202 runners in the girls race.  Running for the boys were Ethan Frye (sr) placing 100^th with a time of 18:46, Byron McKelvin (sr) placing 121^st with a time of 19:04, Collin Brown (fr) placing 156^th with a time of 19:36, Josh Troupe (jr) placing 188^TH with a time of 20:52, Xzavius Butler (jr) placing 193^rd with a time of 21:22, Landon Hendrix (fr) placing 205^th with a time of 22:35, and Carson Rios (jr) placing 208^th with a time of 23:17.  Running for the Lady Gators were Evie Brown (fr) placing 94^th with a time of 23:50, Selina Ocadiz (fr) placing 106^th with a time of 24:00, Aaliyah Sandiford (sr) placing 133^rd with a time of 24:45, Mia Sandiford (sr) placing 140^th with a time of 25:03, Kendall Moore (jr) placing 166^th with a time of 27:20, Anne Lin (sr) placing 174^th with a time of 28:39, and Brittany Newman (jr) placing 191^st with a time of 31:21.
