Ware Co. Cross Country Results @ Jeff-Davis 9/29/16

The Gator cross country teams competed at Towns Bluff Park and Heritage Center in Jeff-Davis.  The boys team placed 7^th out of 14 teams and the girls placed 6^th out of 12 teams.  The varsity boys team competed amongst 112 total runners.  The top 5 boys were Matthew Hamilton (jr.) placing 15^th with a time of 19:56, Logan Millard (jr.) placing 17^th with a time of 19:58, Austin Bachhofer (sr.) placing 40^th with a time of 20:58, Andrew Mitcham (so.) placing 46^th with a time of 21:06, and Alec Jones (sr.)placing 53^rd with a time of 21:18.  The girls varsity team competed amongst 87 runners.  The top 5 girls were Shanya Washington (sr.) placing 10^th with a time of 24:30, Kayla Youngblood (fr.) placing 29^th with a time of 27:09, Hannah Boggan (fr.) placing 33^rd with a time of 27:09, Meleah Morton (so.) placing 37^th with a time of 27:52, and Anne Lin (fr.) placing 48^th with a time of 28:54.  A notable JV performance was freshman Ethan Frye placing 3^rd out of 110 with a time of 20:53.  The Gators will run next Tuesday at Wayne co.  Varsity will begin at 4:30.  Team results are listed below:
