
The Ware Co. Gators runners ran at Wayne Co. Thursday in
their last regular season meet of the year.
The Gator boys team finished 5
th out of 18 teams and the girls
finished 7
th out of 18 teams (Team results are listed below). The top 5 boys for the Gators were Logan
Millard (sr) finishing 4
th with a time of 17:22, Ethan Frye (so)
finishing 17
th with a time of 18:26, Matt Hamilton (sr) finishing 25
th
with a time of 18:48, Dakota Walker (so) finishing 54
th with a time
of 19:44, and Bruce Altman (so) finishing 59
th with a time of 19:55. For the Gator girls, the top 5 finishers were
Kaylah Youngblood (so) finishing 18
th with a time of 23:15, Maree
Harris (jr) finishing 21

total of 140 runners and the girls race hosted 107 runners. The Gators will
travel back to Wayne Co. next Thursday and to compete in the Region 2 AAAAA
Cross country championship. The top 4
teams will compete in the GHSA state Cross country meet in Carrollton GA on Friday
