The Gator Cross Country teams competed at Wayne Co.
Thursday against 18 teams. The boys team
placed 9th overall and the girls placed 4th overall. Running varsity for the Boys were Byron
McKelvin (jr.) placing 4th with a time of 17:52, Timothy Musgrove
(fr.) placing 52nd with a time of 21:06, Josh Troupe (so.) placing
73rd with a time of 22:15, Nathan Hale (jr.) placing 93rd
with a time of 23:06, Dylan Capps (so.) placing 96th with a time of
23:22, Brock Anderson (jr.) placing 110th with a time of 24:29, Evan
Smoak (jr.) placing 119th with a time of 26:20, and Joe Robertson
(jr.) placing 124th with a time of 26:47. Girls Varsity included Maree Harris (sr.)
placing 7th with a time of 23:28, Bailey Moore (so.) placing 10th
with a time of 23:38, Eason Bennett (fr.) placing 31st with a time
of 26:27, Anne Lin (jr.) placing 50th with a time of 27:58, Mia
Sandiford (jr.) placing 72nd with a time of 29:51, Kendall Moore
(so.) placing 85th with a time of 31:09 and Aaliyah Sandiford (jr.)
who did not finish.
The Gators will travel to South Effingham next Thursday.
