Congratulations Seniors!

 

The Gator cross country teams honored their seniors on Thursday here at the swamp.  The Gator runners were Landon Nettles, Jesus Oropeza, Gavin Bennett, Zy Ramsey and Kyle Sapp.  The senior Lady Gators included Keeli Holloway, Samantha Savinon-Rios, Denise Guiterrez, Whitney Moore, and Hannah Moore.  The Gators hosted 3 teams fro Echols Co, Camden Co., and Scintilla Charter Academy.  Scoring for the Lady Gators were Keeli Holloway (12^th grade) placing 2^nd with a time of 21:33, Samantha Savinon-Rios (12^th grade) placing 3^rd with a time of 21:37, Karla Calvillo (9^th grade) placing 4^th with a time of 26:31, Olivia Sanders (11^th grade) placing 5^th with a time of 26:35, and Denise Guiterrez (12^th grade) placing 12^th with a time of 28:34.  Scoring for the Gators were Silas Mixon ((9^th grade) placing 9^th with a time of 20:31, Josh Smith (9^th grade) placing 11^th with a time of 20:46, DaMarion Zanders (10^th grade) placing 12^th with a time of 21:05, Wesley Frye (10^th grade) placing 13^th with a time of 21:28, and Hayden Clement (11^th grade) placing 14^th with a time of 21:20.  Special mention goes out to 8^th grader Brayten Hood who placed 5^th overall in the Boys race with a time of 20:14!  

The Cross country teams will be competing at Jeff Davis middle school next Wednesday 10/18/23.  The first race will begin at 5:00 PM.
