Ware County Cross Country Results 8/27/2020

 

Ware County ran its opening race of the season at the Swamp hosting 7 teams including Camden, Glynn Academy, Brunswick, Brantley, Appling, Long Co., and Valdosta.  The Girls race started at 4:30 and included 63 runners.  The Gator Girls placed 3^rd overall and the top 5 runners for the Lady Gators were Keeli Holloway (Fr.) placing 2^nd with a time of 24:04, Whitney Moore (Fr.) placing 6^th with a time of 26:03, Evie Brown (So.) placing 11^th with a time of 27:39, Brittany Newman (Sr.) placing 25^th with a time of 30:56, and Selena Ocadiz (So.) placing 26^th with a time of 30:57.  The Boys race hosted 96 runners and the Gators placed 6^th overall.  The top 5 Gators were Isaac Gaspar (Jr.) placing 17^th with a time of 20:51, Josh Troupe (Sr.) placing 26^th with a time of 21:35, Jojo Callahan (Jr.) placing 35^th with a time of 22:14, Daly Tuten (Jr.) placing 39^th with a time of 22:54, and Jon Robertson (So.) placing 44^th with a time of 23:20.  The Gators will be travelling to the Great Dunes Golf Course on Jekyll Island next Saturday 9/5/20 to compete in the Jekyll Island Invitational.  The first race will begin at 7:30 AM.  Team scores are listed below.  Complete Gator times for all runners are attached.
