Wayne County Results 9/28/23

The Ware County Cross Country teams competed at Wayne Co. on Thursday 9/28.  The Boys varsity placed 10^th out of the 18 team field and the Girls Varsity team placed 2^nd out of the 16 team field.  The Gators ran at 4:00 PM and there were e141 runners in the race.  Running for the Gators were Jesus Oropeza (12^th grade) placing 39^th with a time of 19:33, Silas Mixon (9^th grade) placing 43^rd with a time of 19:45, Josh Smith (9^th grade) placing 47^th with a time of 19:50, DaMarion Zanders (10^th grade) placing 64^th with a time of 20:34, Wesley Frye (10^th grade) placing 76^th with a time of 21:18, Hayden Clement (11^th grade) placing 96^th with a time of 22:15:59, and Zy Ramsey (12^th grade) placing 98^th with a time of 22:15:76.  The Girls varsity race ran at 4:30 PM and hosted 108 runners.  Running for the Lady Gators were Keeli Holloway (12^th grade) placing 1^st with a time of 20:55, Samantha Savinon-Rios (12^th grade) placing 4^th with a time of 21:28, Whitney Moore (12^th grade) placing 21^st with a time of 24:35, Karla Calvillo (9^th grade) placing 39^th with a time of 25:43, Hannah Moore (12^th grade) placing 46^th with a time of 26:40, Olivia Sanders (11^th grade) placing 47^th with a time of 26:42, Denise Gutierrez (12^th grade) placing 64^th with a time of 27:47, and Zicoria Riggs (11^th grade) placing 74^th with a time of 28:46.  The Gators will be travelling to Long County Next Thursday.  For complete meet results including JV results visit https://ga.milesplit.com/meets/545278-yellow-jackets-home-meet-2-2023/results
