The Gators travelled to Jeff-Davis on 9/25 to run in the Southern Georgia XC Championship hosted by Jeff-Davis HS. The invitational hosted 32 teams and ran middle school and high school races. The Gators boys team placed 15th out of 32 teams and the Lady Gators placed 16th out of 28 teams who entered in the high school varsity divisions. The Varsity Boys race had 247 runners who finished the race, and the top 5 for the Gators were Ethan Frye (sr) placing 9th and medaling, with a time of 18:20, Colin Brown (fr.) placing 51st with a time of 19:46, Josh Troupe (jr) placing 115th with a time of 21:15, Landon Hendrix (fr) placing 121st with a time of 21:24, and Xzavius Butler (jr) placing 124th with a time of 21:29. The Varsity girls race finished a total of 201 runners. The top 5 for the lady Gators were Mia Sandiford (sr) placing 53rd with a time of 25:39, Evie Brown (fr) placing 62nd with a time of 25:56, Selena Ocadiz (fr) placing 80th with a time of 26:40, Anne Lin (sr) placing 95th with a time of 27:47, and Kendall Moore (jr) placing 136th with a time of 30:19.

The Gators will be travelling to the Panther Prowl hosted by Tift Area Academy next Saturday Oct 5th.
The first race will begin at 9:00 AM.
