The Gators traveled to Wayne Co. Thursday and competed against 23 teams. The Gator boys team finished 11th of 23 teams scored and the Lady Gators finished 8th out of 18 teams scored.
The Boys Varsity race scored 202 runners and the Girls Varsity race scored 157 runners.
The top 5 Gators were Ethan Frye (sr) placing 15th with a time of 17:45,
Byron McKelvin (sr) placing 27th with a time of 18:07, Colin Brown (fr) placing 53rd with a time of 18:45,
Xzavius Butler (jr) placing 125th with a time of 20:19, and Josh Troupe (jr) placing 132nd with a time of 20:24.
The top 5 Lady Gators were Evie Brown (fr) placing 29th with a time of 22:48,
Aaliyah Sandiford (sr) placing 32nd with a time of 23:02, Selina Ocadiz (fr) placing 35th with a time of 23:14,
Mia Sandiford (sr) placing 39th with a time of 23:23, and Anne Lin (sr) placing 82nd with a time of 25:43.
The Gators will be competing in the Region Championship next Thursday 10/24/19 which will be hosted by
Wayne Co. High School.
The first race will begin at 4:00 PM. Complete individual results and team scores are attached.
