The Ware County cross country teams raced in the Bulldog Invitational Thursday hosted by Toombs County HS. The Gators ran in a field of 18 teams and finished 11th overall scoring 263 points. The Lady Gators finished 2nd overall in a field of 5 teams scoring 83 points. The Boys race hosted a total of 217 runners. Running for the gators were Jon Robertson (12th grade) placing 31st with a time of 20:48, Caleb Wise (9th grade) placing 34th with a time of 21:01, Kamani Gainer (11th grade) placing 57th with a time of 22:17, Hayden Clement (10th grade) placing 78th with a time of 23:28, Jesus Oropeza (11th grade) placing 96th with a time of 24:25, Landon Nettles (11th grade) placing 99th with a time of 24:38, Wesley Frye (9th grade) placing 119th with a time of 25:48, Corbett Nettles (10th grade) placing 130th with a time of 26:17, and Stephen Valdez (9th grade) placing 156th with a time of 28:02. The Lady Gators had another nice run placing 2 in the top 20 in a field of 131 runners. Running for the Lady Gators were Samantha Savinon-Rios (11th grade) placing 2nd with a time of 21:22, Keeli Holloway (11th grade) placing 3rd with a time of 22:15, Madison Donlon (9th grade) placing 33rd with a time of 28:02, Evie Brown (12th grade) placing 34th with a time of 28:03, Madison Boland (10th grade) placing 35th with a time of 28:28, Alondra Rios-Rangel (10th grade) placing 36th with a time of 29:09, Olivia Sanders (10th grade) placing 39th with a time of 29:57, and Lindsy Moore (10th grade) placing 62nd with a time of 32:31.
