Ware Co. Cross Country Results Senior night 9/12/19

The Gators hosted 10 teams here at the Swamp on Thursday as they honored their seniors. 
The senior Gator girls are Anne Lin, Mia Sandiford, Aaliyah Sandiford, and Nyealia Johnson. 
The senior Gator boys include Ethan Frye, Bruce Alyman, Jackson Dixon, Caleb Crawford, Byron McKelvin,
Kevon McKelvin, Evan Smoak, Dakota Walker, Kobie Turner, Brock Anderson, and Jesus Hernandez. 
The Ware county girls team placed 2nd out of 9 teams and the Gator boys placed 5th out of 10 teams. 
The girls race hosted 59 runners and the boys race included 142 runners for a total of 201 athletes
tromping in the swamp this Thursday.  The top 5 girls were Aaliyah Sandiford(sr.) placing 5th with a time of 24:30,
Evie Brown (fr.) placing 8th with a time of 24:52, Selina Ocadiz (fr.) placing 11th with a time of 25:54,
Bailey Moore (jr.) placing 14th with a time of 27:20, and Anne Lin (sr.) placing 20th with a time of 28:08. 
The top 5 boys were Ethan Frye (sr.) placing 3rd (out of 142) with a time of 18:03,
Byron McKelvin (sr.) placing 6th with a time of 18:34, Josh Troupe (jr.) placing 31st with a time of 20:30,
Timothy Musgrove (so.) placing 33rd with a time of 20:37, and Colin Brown (fr.) placing 35th with a time of 20:39.
  The Gators will be travelling to Douglas next Thursday to run in the CCA invitational.
