The Ware County Lady Gators Cross Country team competed in the 5A State Cross country championship held at Carrollton HS on Friday 11/3/23. The Lady Gators performed well placing 23rd in the 31 team field which hosted 208 runners. Representing the Lady Gators were Samantha Savinon-Rios (12th grade) placing 30th with a time of 20:39, Keeli Holloway (12th grade) placing 68th with a time of 21:56, Whitney Moore (12th grade) placing 172nd with a time of 25:40, Olivia Sanders (11th grade) placing 183rd with a time of 26:29, Hannah Moore (12th grade) placing 186th with a time of 26:47, and Madison Donlon (10th grade) placing 195th with a time of 27:45.
