Raider Cross Country Invitational Hosted by Savannah Christian Preparatory School

 




The Ware County cross country teams raced in the Raider Cross Country Invitational hosted by Savannah Christian Preparatory School on Wednesday 9/28/22. The Gator runners placed
11th out of 14 teams scoring 235 points and the Lady Gators placed 2nd out of 9 teams scoring 72 points. The Boys race hosted 170 runners. Running for the Gators were Caleb Wise (9th grade) placing 31st with a time of 19:06, Jon Robertson (12th grade) placing 34th with a time of 19:18, Kamani Gainer (11th grade) placing 35th with a time of 19:21, Haydn Clement (10th grade) placing 67th with a time of 20:36, Zy Ramsey (11th grade) placing 98th with a time of 22:09, Jesus Oropeza (11th grade) placing 105th with a time of 22:24, Landon Nettles (11th grade) placing 106th with a time of 22:26, Wesley Frye (9th grade) placing 109th with a time of 22:42, Corbett Nettles (10th grade) placing 136th with a time of 24:41, and Stephen Valdez (10th grade) placing 159th with a time of 26:46. The Girls race hosted 90 runners. Running for the Lady Gators were Samantha Savinon-Rios (11th grade) placing 3rd with a time of 20:05, Keeli Holloway (11th grade) placing 5th with a time of 20:38, Selina Ocadiz (12th grade) placing 6th with a time of 20:51, Madison Boland (10th grade) placing 19th with a time of 23:16, Madison Donlon (9 th grade) placing 45th with a time of 25:58, Olivia Sanders (10th grade) placing 47th with a time of 26:05, Lindsy Moore (10th grade) placing 54th with a time of 26:56, and Evie Brown (12th grade) was unable to finish the race due to injury. 
The Ware County Cross Country teams will be hosting 10 teams next Thursday and honoring
their seniors in the Swamp. The first race will begin at 4:30 PM.

Panther Prowl - Tift Area Academy 9/24/22


The Ware County cross country teams competed in the Panther Prowl on Saturday 9/24/22 hosted by Tift Area Academy.  There were 9 teams in both the Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity events with the Girls race hosting 68 total runners and the Boys race hosting 96 total runners.  The Girls race ran at 9:00 AM and the Lady Gators place 2nd overall in the field.  Running for the Lady Gators were Samantha Savinon-Rios (11th grade) placing 1st with a time of 21:01, Keeli Holloway (11th grade) placing 2nd with a time of 21:50, Evie Brown (12th grade) placing 19th with a time of 26:24, Alondra Rios-Rangel (10th grade) placing 25th with a time of 27:14, Olivia Sanders (10th grade) placing 29th with a time of 27:41, Madison Donlon (9th grade) placing 34th with a time of 28:18, and Lindsy Moore (10th grade) placing 35th with a time of 28:39.  The Gators ran at 9:45 AM and placed 3rd overall in the field of 9 teams.  Running for the Gators were Caleb Wise (9th grade) placing 7th with a time of 19:27, Jon Robertson (12th grade) placing 17th with a time of 20:38, Zy Ramsey (11th grade) placing 21st with a time of 21:21, Kamani Gainer (11th grade) placing 23rd with a time of 21:14, Hayden Clement (10th grade) placing 37th with a time of 22:25, Landon Nettles (11th grade) placing 51st with a time of 23:41, and Corbett Nettles (10th grade) placing 73rd with a time of 25:09.  

The Ware county runners will be travelling to Savannah Christian Academy Wednesday 9/28 to run in the Raider Invitational.  The first race begins at 3:50 PM.
